Overview

Located on C. Tórtola in the vibrant Beiro district of Granada, Cafeteria Massay offers more than just a coffee break—it delivers an experience steeped in warmth and quality. This coffee shop is a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike, especially those seeking a relaxed yet refined brunch or a midday pause. Its proximity to the train station makes it ideal for travelers looking to recharge with great coffee and a wholesome bite before continuing their journey.

The heart of Cafeteria Massay lies in its carefully curated menu. At its core are artisanal toasts, thoughtfully layered with fresh ingredients like creamy avocado, ripe tomatoes, and savory jamón. Options such as the Tostada Ana Frank or the Multicereal de Atún Con Tomate highlight the kitchen’s commitment to blending traditional flavors with modern twists. Pastries and sweets, including rich cheesecakes and moist carrot cakes, accompany the savory dishes perfectly, creating a balanced offering that caters to varied tastes.

The coffee here is a standout. From expertly crafted café con leche varieties to specialty coffees like flat whites adorned with charming latte art, each cup is skillfully brewed to deliver a smooth, rich profile. Notable is the café con churros—a beloved Spanish classic given a fresh presence on the menu. This attention to detail turns every sip into a small ritual, elevating the entire visit.

The ambiance is cozy yet stylish, with a welcoming interior that invites guests to linger. Regulars describe the space as a second home, where friendly staff contribute to a genuine sense of community. Whether you come for a quick morning espresso or a slow weekend brunch, the atmosphere supports conversation, comfort, and connection.

Popped into Massay for a morning coffee and was instantly charmed. The flat white came with a delightful bear-shaped latte art—small details like this make all the difference. More importantly, the coffee was spot on: smooth, rich, and expertly crafted. The avocado toast with smoked salmon was just as impressive—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and efficient, and the whole place had a relaxed yet stylish vibe. A cracking spot for a quality brunch—will definitely be back.
